What maintenance is needed?Your filter will need to be cleaned/changed once a year unless you live in a very dusty area. Quality Air place the filter as close to the roof access as practical and provide an easy slide in and out filter housing reducing time and requiring no tools and need very little know how to do so. Quality Air provide a filter replacement service if you do not wish to do this job yourself this service can be provided for you at minimum cost whilst servicing the system at the same time. How long will the Quality Air ventilation System take after installation before removing condensation? Before removing condensation many customers notice a dramatic change in the first week of operation. This varies on the moisture already built up over the years and the size of your home plus weather conditions at the time of installation. Is outside air wetter than the air inside?Air inside is damper, holding water in the carpet, curtains etc. and we add to the moisture on a daily basis using dishwashers, un-flued gas heating, showers etc. By diluting the damp air inside with drier air from outside (also dried by a Quality Air heater system) a warmer, drier dwelling is produced making a healthier environment. |
